Fellowship Asheville

We are in urgent need of volunteers to help with food and supplies distribution. Your involvement will make a difference as you connect with community members while they shop for essential items. Each week, we evaluate local needs and would greatly appreciate your support. Sign up for one or more shifts! 

Baptists on Mission

If you would like to volunteer for cleaning out homes and going out to help in the community you can register with Baptists on Mission here and they will direct you to sites all across Western North Carolina.

When registering your group, please register as one group and not individually. We will be communicating through emails and on this website. Try to register your group at least 4 days prior to your desired departure date of arrival. 

We know that many people want to go now, but we want to stress that this is a long term response that will take many years. We are asking volunteers to be flexible as needs and opportunities change daily. Please be patient as we make assignments and additional areas open up. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Western North Carolina.

First Baptist Church of Swannanoa

We are currently taking a limited number of day volunteers to help with our distribution. We start taking volunteers around 9 am. You will fill out our waiver form, go through an orientation, and then be assigned a place to serve. OUR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES CHANGE RAPIDLY.

If you would like to volunteer for cleaning out homes and going out to help in the community you can register with Baptists on Mission and they will direct you to sites all across Western North Carolina. You can choose to come here to FBC Swannanoa within the registration process. We thank you for helping. 

Buladean Community Center - Food Pantry

Would you like to help with NC disaster relief? One of the BEST ways is to join us as a volunteer for a few hours, or a day, or even a week or more!

We have a large need, especially at the end of the week and weekends for our distribution center staffing - from unloading donations, to sorting and stocking, to cleaning and picking up, to kitchen support.

Offsite, we have crews helping folks get their properties and homes cleaned up - basement/flooding clean up, creek debris removal, cutting up fallen trees that will soon be fire hazards, etc. We also have places for construction minded folks - electricians, plumbers, roofers, etc - to help.

Please stop by any time to offer to help OR sign up at bccdisasterrelief.com to let us know when you will be coming, and your special skill sets. Thank you so much for being willing to help our communities!!
